Notes & Reminders
Just an FYI that we are in process of lining up a painting contractor to freshen the walls up. All work would be done after hours, but you may notice things moving around to accommodate the work while it is in process.
Spring is here, but we still have some chilly mornings and some muddy grounds, so please make sure your child has appropriate clothes and shoes for active play.
Teacher Spotlight- Miss Georgia
We have officially made it to spring and our Bees are buzzing about it. As you know Red Rover will be closed April 3rd for staff training! We hope you all have an amazing Easter weekend with our Bees!
With that being said, we will be doing some Easter arts and crafts the first week of April and reading Easter books.
Our April lesson theme is weather. Our bees will be learning about April showers, spring tornadoes, and thunderstorms! We have lots of sensory projects planned to get the babies involved.
With the weather getting warmer we are very excited to get our 6 baby stroller out and give the Bees some nice fresh air! We will be sending home permission slips for the stroller soon! That also brings up sunblock. It is officially sunblock season. We have sent home sunblock forms so don’t forget to bring the lotion in as well. If your Bee is under 6 months old and you bring sunblock for them we will not apply it until they are 6 months old.
Also, don’t forget spring jackets, hats for their ears and extra weather appropriate clothing.
Thanks for being awesome Bee parents! Let us know if you have any questions.

It’s finally April! This month in the Piglet room we are going to be talking about Easter. Now that it is spring, we are going to be doing tons of art projects with flowers, eggs and peeps. If you have any extra plastic Easter Eggs that you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. We have changed up some of the reminder sheets (if they need clothes, diapers, etc.) and those will be taped to their cubbies, so make sure you come in the room during pick up and check to see if they have any papers for the day or even art projects to take home. Also, with the weather changing please remember to wash your child’s hands every morning when you arrive. Thank you!

Hanging with the Monkeys!
We weathered the snow and ice but Elsa has finally calmed down and thawed her frozen heart and we now have spring! Our Monkeys are very excited for warm weather because it means they can be outside everyday! Our themes this month are focused around Spring and Easter. We will be exploring weather, bugs, and of course that little bunny! We have lots of fun activities planned for Easter including an Easter egg hunt which will be April 2nd. Please remember Red Rover will be closed Friday, April 3rd for staff training. We have some new additions to our room. We would like to give a warm welcome to Miss Kaylah who will be in our room part time, Lizzie who is new to the center and our graduating Piglets Kennedy, Mulan, and Victoria. We are very happy to have them in our room! With warm weather we will be going outside twice a day so please make sure your child has appropriate clothes such as, shoes that will stay on while running and playing and are ok to get a little dirty, spring jackets or a sweat shirt, and hats. Potty training is going great in the Monkey room, if you have any questions about your child’s progress please ask Deanna, Brandy, or Kirsten. If you haven’t sent back the green sunscreen form along with sunscreen for your child, please return it no later than April 2nd. Also if you have not yet brought in a family photo for our picture wall please bring one in. The kids really love looking at them throughout the day and we do use them as a learning tool. Thank you for all your support; we are excited to see what another month brings us.

Take a Swim with the Guppies
Spring is in the air! Welcome to the spring season and a big welcome to our new friends Lydia, Harper, Watson, Bo, Cienna, and Ashlynn. We would like to remind parents to take winter clothing home and bring appropriate clothing for spring. The Guppy’s will be very busy this month learning all about spring and talking about the weather changes during our spring walk. The themes this month are fruits and vegetables, feelings, Earth week, and weather. Just a reminder, we sent home poster board to fill it up with your family photos. Please return them as soon as possible.
